SM Hotels and Conventions Corp. (SMHCC) continues to strengthen its brand presence across the Philippines with the official opening of SMX Convention Center Clark on 24 May 2022.
The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was led by SMHCC President Elizabeth T. Sy and, as Mabalacat City Mayor Cris Garbo’s representative, Board Member-Elect Win Garbo. With them were SCMC President Steven Tan, SMHCC Executive Vice President Peggy E. Angeles, SMHCC Senior Vice President for Operations Walid Wafik, Clark Development Corporation Chairman Atty. Edgardo D. Pamintuan, Bases Conversion and Development Authority Head of Investment Promotions and Marketing Michelle De Vera, Department of Tourism Region 3 Division Chief Ronsan Pelariza, and SMX Convention Center Clark Senior Branch Manager Miguel Morato.

SMX Convention Center Clark is dubbed as the second stand-alone convention center after SMX Manila. It boasts of a gross leasable space of more than 4,000 sq. m., comprising of two (2) level event venues and a mezzanine floor for offices. Conveniently located adjacent to Park Inn by Radisson Clark and the flourishing SM City Clark development, this new MICE icon is ready to take on events and celebrations with its three (3) trade halls, three (3) function rooms, and 14 smaller meeting rooms. These iconic properties are found within the integrated business and leisure hub interconnected by the SM Sky Line providing seamless synergy amongst retail, entertainment, corporate, and educational establishments in the complex.
SMX Convention Center Clark is located within a 16-minute drive from the airport via Manuel Roxas highway and approximately a 20-minute drive via Gil Puyat Clark East Perimeter Road.
