Ideal for any type of event, SMX Davao offers 3 function rooms and 5 meeting rooms, totaling 5,200 square meters of leasable space that can accommodate anything from an audience of 5,550 to an exclusive conference for 1o. Spanning 7,853 sqm. within Davao’s SM Lanang Premier Mall, and linked to the Park Inn by Radisson Hotel by a foot bridge, it is the largest and first privately-owned and –managed convention and exhibition center in the Philippine south.

GREEN INITIATIVES

SMX Davao is housed within the SM Lanang Premier shopping complex, which was built from the ground up using green architecture principles. The mall boasts the city’s first rain catchment system, minimizing storm water peak flow, siltation, and surface run-off water, which is likewise minimized by the use of paver blocks in its parking area. Recycled water is used in the establishment’s bathroom facilities and cooling tower. Park finders are installed in the basement parking area, significantly reducing carbon output from vehicles, while LED and skylights ensure efficient energy consumption.

Each function room has its own dedicated kitchen to cater to the food and beverage requirements of any given event. All rooms are fully-carpeted and has a ceiling clearance of six (6) meters, floor and load capacity of 100 pounds per square foot.

FUNCTION ROOMS

Anywhere from 200-4,745 guests may be seated in the 3 function rooms, which can be combined into a floor area of up to 5,200 square meters in theater, classroom, banquet, or cocktail layouts, for all types of large-scale events. Each function room has its own dedicated kitchen to cater to the food and beverage requirements of any given event. All rooms are fully-carpeted and has a ceiling clearance of six (6) meters, floor and load capacity of 100 pounds per square foot.

MEETING ROOMS

Meeting rooms can accommodate a small gathering or when combined and customized to preferences, up to 320 guests, perfect for small to medium scale events. The rooms have ceiling clearance of 3.5 meters ranging from 57- sqm. to 320 sqm. , fully-carpeted rooms and load capacity of 100 pounds per square foot.
